I’m back today with an Autumn themed book tag that is part of the Bookending Autumn Series 2019 that is hosted by Sam @ Fictionally Sam and Clo @ Cuppa Clo. This particular prompt is hosted by Michelle @ Michelle Likes Things. I’m not actually taking part in this series but I was tagged to do this book tag by the fabulous Leelynn @Sometimes Leelynn Reads and I can never say no to a bookish tag!!!

The Rules
- Credit the creator (that’s Michelle @Michelle Likes Things) and link back to her original post.
- Answer the questions.
- Tag a bunch of people to do this tag!
I’m going to be using Michelle’s GORGEOUS images that she created especially for this tag in this post.
The Questions

If you want to read something with gorgeous prose and a love story that will melt any heart and just make you feel all warm and cosy then look no further than this fabulous book by Samantha Sotto. I absolutely ADORED Love and Gravity. It’s a time travelling love story that just made me feel all the feels. A five star read for sure. Full review here.

If you’re looking for a light, autumnal-esque read then look no further than Abby Clements’ pretty looking ‘Amelia Grey’s Fireside Dream’. I read this a number of years ago before I wrote either Goodreads or blog reviews but I do remember feeling entirely enchanted by the simple storyline.

It’s terrifying how shockingly badly written Jay Asher’s Thirteen Reasons Why is and even more horrifying how it has managed to spawn a highly successful Netflix series…

I love my girl Xifeng from Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C Dao. This origin story of the wicked queen trope is FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read One Day by David Nicholls over eight years ago…. I AM STILL SAD!!!!!!!!! It’s an AMAZING book but oh my god my heart just doesn’t want to heal!!!

I could just DIE with how cute Field Notes on Love by Jennifer E Smith is!!!!!!!!!!!! ALL THE CUTE FEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Second nod to Julie C. Dao in this tag!! This is due out in November. I can’t even remember what it’s supposed to be about but honestly does that even matter BECAUSE JUST LOOK AT THE BEAUTY THAT IS THAT COVER!!!!!!!!!!!
And that’s it for this tag!!!
As ever if you want to do this tag then consider yourself tagged!

Hahaha, loved your scary book choice. Honestly, I have never read it or any of his books and will never. They just don’t interest me.

I’ve only read 13 reasons why and it was long before I knew there was a tv adaptation of it. And my god it was terrible Joanna!!! Just super problematic and poorly written. I have no clue how it became a successful tv series. No clue!!!!

I had the same thoughts with Thirteen Reasons Why. It was over hyped, especially with the series.

Over hyped is a massive understatement!!!! Gosh they look is so poorly crafted and so problematic in tone… Baffles me how they made it in to a tv show!!
