General Update
Hi all!
Hope everyone has had a lovely start to the new year and is slowly settling back into the routine of everyday life after the holiday festivities of the past few weeks.
What I read this week
I read three books this week… two of them five star reads! (Ayoade on Top, The Switch) And the other a four star (Starsight). Pretty great end/start to the year don’t you think. Look out for my reviews of Starsight and The Switch coming this week. My review for Ayoade on Top has already been posted.
What I am reading next
As of right now I am unsure! I just finished The Switch this afternoon and don’t know what type of book I am now in the mood for. I’ll just have to peruse my Goodreads bookshelves later on to help me decide.
Book reviews
The following are the book reviews that I posted to my blog this week:
- Ayoade on Top by Richard Ayoade
- Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Sir Terry Pratchett
- A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens
- We’re Not From Here by Geoff Rodkey
Book tags and other miscellany
- Goodreads Monday: Maps for Lost Lovers
- Top Ten Tuesday: Favourite Books I Read in 2019
- Monthly Wrap Up: December 2019
- Award: Sunshine Blogger
To celebrate the new decade I decided to share reviews of my reading years from 2015 to 2019 inclusive that I had posted to Goodreads.
- 2015 a bookish year in review
- 2016 a bookish year in review
- 2017 a bookish year in review
- 2018 a bookish year in review
- 2019 a bookish year in review
A short and sweet wrap up post this week as I’m rather physically fatigued these past few days. Fingers crossed for a brighter few days next week.

2 out of 3 being 5 stars? That is awesome!

I love that you’re sharing all your yearly wrap ups! I’ve only read one of them so far but I loved it š I totally get you with the fatigue because this past week has seen my mind wrapped up in a tight fog that’s super hard to shake. I hope that you feel better soon, my friend! š Big hugs your way!

Oh I have been living in an eternal fog (or haze lol!) for the past few weeks and just such a struggle. I’ve been so flaky with keeping up with everyone blogwise too… So I’m cheering myself up with gender swapped Twilight Dini and OMG it is hilarious!!!!!!!!! It is the book that no one needs but boy am I having a blast XDDD
